The contest was open to students, recent graduates, young professionals up to 35 years old, holding Russian or any ASEAN member state citizenship. Every entry should have been prepared by, at least, two authors, among whom one was a Russian citizen, and the other one was an ASEAN member state citizen.
Nikolai Yakushev (Vologda Research Center of RAS) and Hastubinawan Agrit (University of Indonesia) have been awarded the 3rd prize for their essay Green Russian export to ASEAN: measures for its development. Their project presented an approach to assessing the composition of green exports, which allows countries to contribute simultaneously to economic, social and environmental sustainability.
The winners were awarded certificates, thematic literature and other souvenirs about Russia and ASEAN. The essays of the winners are expected to be published in papers Russia and ASEAN in the Asia-Pacific Region: Dynamics of Cooperation, Regional Processes and Global Context.
